I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and Chemical Dependency Therapist who specializes in working with individuals, relationships, and families who are in a current state of transition. Whether that is to transition from things like, but not limited to:
Negative self thoughts and doubt
To being a family of two to now adjusting to a family of three
Or reshaping life under a recent diagnosis.
I assist to make the transition of any major life event possible by not only highlighting the spaces from which you have come from but to also make space for the ways you are wishful to show up in the future. Neither one, the past or the future, can co-exist without the acknowledgement of the present. I am here to step in to align with your goals and where you want to be while also reminding you of the work it takes in this present moment to get there.
Purposed Pediatrics Therapy is where passion, purpose, and occupational therapy meet. We provide occupational therapy services which includes comprehensive evaluations, client centered treatment programs/intervention, and parent/caregiver education. Our skilled intervention focuses on building foundational skills for daily occupations. We are trained to provide skilled intervention to the pediatric population with disorders affecting motor, cognitive, social, and behavioral development. We provide in-home, community, telehealth, and school contract services.
We are committed to providing Christ-centered counseling and education through our professional services, lay counselor training and community involvement. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, supervised by Francisco Peralta, M.ED, LPC-S, NBCC, Shaune maintains a satellite office at Greater Mt. Zion. Shaune is dedicated to helping the hurting and is ready to walk alongside those seeking help for grief, anxiety, depression, and other life challenges. She pairs her non-judgmental, compassionate listening with Biblical principles and various theoretical strategies to design a therapeutic plan to help you accomplish your goals.
