Discipleship Groups

Experience the Rhythms of Faith
Connect with God, the Church, and your PurposeDiscipleship Groups at Greater Mt. Zion
Discipleship groups are central to life at Greater Mt. Zion. They are spaces where we grow deeper in our relationship with God, build authentic community, and learn how to live out our faith in everyday life. Through Scripture, prayer, shared stories, and intentional practices, we are formed as followers of Jesus—together.
Rooted is the cornerstone of our discipleship pathway and the starting point for anyone new to Greater Mt. Zion or new to discipleship groups. This 10-week small-group experience is designed to connect you to God, the church, and your God-given purpose. In a group of 10–15 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share your story, and practice spiritual rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life.
After Rooted, groups may continue their discipleship journey through a variety of curriculum options, that walk through books of Scripture and key themes of the Christian faith. Together, these studies help us follow Jesus not just on Sundays, but in every area of life.
Discipleship groups are offered three times a year—in February, May, and September.
