Dream Together: MLK “I Have a Dream” 60th Anniversary

Join us as we kickoff a 7-year movement on the 60th anniversary of Dr. King’s, I Have Dream Speech on August 28th, 2023 at 9am on the steps of the Capital as we collectively work together to build a better future. This event commemorates the 60th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, expressing both celebration for the progress made and lamentation for the unrealized portions of his vision. This is a community call in Austin, Texas for true unity and highlights the need for repentance and reconciliation to overcome past harms while working towards a more just and equitable community in greater Austin and surrounding areas.
